About IntelliTrac

Established in July 1987 IntelliTrac provides a broad range of in vehicle and personal GPS Tracking, Telematics, IVMS, Navigation & Mobile Workforce Solutions for both Fleet Management, Automotive Security, Personal Tracking and Insurance Telematics.
It all began as Novatronics, a company designing and manufacturing Automotive Security Electronics in Melbourne Australia and supplying vehicle manufacturers, dealers and aftermarket stores throughout Australia and South East Asia
In 1998 development began into GPS Stolen Vehicle Tracking Systems to compliment the extensive range of automotive security devices manufactured under the Novalarm, Optima and Blackbox brand.
In 2002 IntelliTrac was born providing GPS Fleet Management Solutions.
In 2003 an exclusive joint venture partnership was formed with www.streetdirectory.com.au, bringing together state of the art automotive electronics and a solid information technology base with proprietry mapping technologies.
IntelliTrac is a BRW Magazine Fast 100 company, and also an Anthill Magazine Cool Company Finalist.

Today IntelliTrac is a global leader in GPS Tracking and Mobile Workforce Job Dispatch Systems, with a team of approximately 45 staff including Software Developers, Electronics Engineers, Sales, Operations and Service Staff. We bring to market turn key and customised GPS Tracking and Mobile Workforce Solutions in many vertical markets including small business fleet management, mining oil and gas in vehicle monitoring systems and mobile workforce software systems.

After supplying many medium to large scale projects into Queensland Government Departments ranging from local Government to Queensland Police, IntelliTrac was recently accredited as a supplier to the Queensland Government Chief Procurement Office. Queensland Government buyers can now feel assured as to IntelliTrac's financial stability and the ability to deliver robust ICT solutions in the GPS and Telematics area.

Largest GPS Deployment In Australia

Media group PMP Ltd has continued to roll out IntelliTrac's GPS Tracking System in all states of Australia. With almost 10,000 systems currently in the roll out process, IntelliTrac has provided PMP a smooth and seemless transition into GPS Tracking Technology. The IntelliTrac GPS tracking system, was launched in Sydney in September 2006, and rolled out to Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth during the first half of 2007. The device is carried by people delivering direct marketing material and shopping catalogues to residential households. The system provides real time updates and management reporting on the progress of delivery. IntelliTrac has assisted PMP achieve market leadership by increasing productivity and DIFOT (Delivery in Full on Time) to 99%. The increased productivity equating to increased sales for PMP's clients such as the Coles Myer Group. The IntelliTrac X1 GPS Personal Tracking System, coupled with Virtual Map Software, tracks and monitors catalogue distributors every 15 metres in real time, and is able to produce delivery reporting data to drilled down household levels.

Dean Calapai - CEO & Founder IntelliTrac Since 1987

Dean has a degree in Electronics and Communications engineering and has been involved in engineering, sales and marketing, finance and management roles in the automotive and technology industries including companies such as IBM since 1982.
Dean has a wealth of experience in the Australia and the SE Asia region spanning over 25 years. Dean is a member of the Australian CEO Institute.

John Durante - Managing Director IntelliTrac Since 2005

John Durante has been with IntelliTrac Pty Ltd since 2005 and holds the position of Managing Director. He has over 15 years direct experience in the GPS industry and is considered as one of the founders of the establishment of the GPS vehicle tracking business sector in Australia. Prior to his appointment as Managing Director for IntelliTrac, John has held senior management positions for companies which include CSR, Management and Executive Software and Insulboard Limited. John also held the position of founder and CEO of Australian Cellulose Industries, a national company which was established as the largest manufacturer of cellulose fibre for insulation and kitty litter based products. John's broad management experience and understanding of the GPS industry, has been invaluable in the growth and success of IntelliTrac

Geoffrey has Bachelor Degrees in Engineering and Business Management, and has been involved in management roles in various industries including Leisure Equipment and Information Technology. Geoffrey has a wealth of experience in business management in China, Australia and SE Asia spanning almost 25 years.
