July 2005 - IntelliTrac Recovers Stolen Mitsubishi

Recently four thieves got more than they bargained for when they stole a Mitsubishi EVO8 factory fitted with the Novatronics 888 Series Car Alarm and IntelliTrac X8 GPS Tracking System.

How did they bypass this state of the art 888 Alarm you may ask?

Answer:- They didn't!

After breaking into a home, they found the EVO8 keys and decided to take it as well. Our IntelliTrac Response Centre received a "Vehicle Tamper" notification and proceeded to confirm with the vehicle owner who was on holiday at the time.  After realising that the vehicle was no longer in his garage, the owner asked IntelliTrac to begin a recovery  procedure. 

Result...Vehicle recovered and four arrests made!
