Liberty Technology Pty. Ltd. was founded in 1987 by Dean Calapai, a 24 year old  Electronics and Communications Engineer previously employed by IBM Australia.   Today it is the largest privately owned GPS Tracking organisation in Australia.

Initially established as Novatronics Automotive Security Electronics, its products were so advanced that by 1988 it had formed joint ventures in Singapore & Malaysia manufacturing and marketing its products to aftermarket and vehicle manufacturers throughout SE Asia.

In 1990 Novatronics established a manufacturing plant in Australia and by 1993 all locally sold product was being produced in Australia under the "Australian Made" licence.

It was a natural progression of the automotive security industry, that in 1998 led Liberty Technology to develop a GPS Stolen Vehicle tracking solution. This was shortly followed by the IntelliTrac Fleet Management Solution.

In 2003 IntelliTrac formed an exclusive joint venture partnership with Virtual Map Australia

providing state of the art solutions, encompassing diverse industry sectors, together bringing hardware and software solutions to a new benchmark.

Today IntelliTrac sets the benchmark in GPS Tracking and Fleet Management solutions on a global scale, with operations spread out from Europe, Middle East, Asia, Australasia and the Americas.

IntellliTrac has been awarded the Australia Business Review Weekly Fast 100 Company Status two years  running in 2007 and 2008  placing in the Top 20 Fastest growing companies in Australia.

IntelliTrac provides a broad range of in vehicle and personal GPS Tracking, Navigation & Mobile Workforce Solutions for both Fleet Management, Automotive Security, Personal Tracking and Telematics.

2009 has seen IntelliTrac enter the field of Mobile Workforce solutions, including job dispatch systems for service based industries  and transport logistics solutions.

2010 brings the dawn of a new era with pending announcements into B2B ecommerce solutions set to revolutionise various industry sectors.
