Councils check contractor data themselves, without waiting on answers

Paul from KS Environmental explains why councils value logging in to IntelliTrac to check and download service data directly.
Councils can log in to IntelliTrac and check or download their contractor's service data directly. They don't have to send a question to the contractor and wait. Paul from KS Environmental, who sweeps streets for councils, says it's the part councils value most.

Councils go straight to the data
"The best part about it is the data that council want, and the ability to check it without coming to us, but go directly to the system and download the data or check on the data. So it's very transparent all the way around, which I think's pretty important."

Council staff can answer a resident's question themselves, straight away.
A button for whatever washes up
KS fitted an IntelliTrac system to a tractor that cleans Kingston's beaches. When the driver found something the council needed to deal with, such as a washed-up dolphin or a broken drain pipe, a button press told the council, who sent a team to clear it.
