Your questions

WhatWhat youyou needneedtoto know.know.

EP23 Elite is installed telematics for fleets that need location, driver identification and compatible vehicle or machinery inputs. Its fitted accessories determine the information available.

Compatible installations can connect PTO or switched inputs for machine activity. Sweeper brooms and bin lifts are examples of supported installation designs. Agree the interface, event meaning and reporting before commissioning.

An optional RFID reader can associate an assigned card or fob with the driver. Agree how drivers identify themselves and how the fleet manager handles a missing identification. Access-control actions need their own compatible setup.

The documented Iridium expansion supports compatible IT300 and EP23 Elite installations with the required serial interface. Confirm the exact Elite generation, modem, service and alert path for your fleet. Satellite telemetry does not provide a live camera connection.

Start with the vehicle models, required readings and any cameras or accessories already fitted. We assess the power supply, connections and placement before agreeing the setup. Commissioning checks that the device belongs to the right vehicle and reports the selected information.

Live updates and remote actions need a supported connection. Storage and later upload depend on the device and configuration. If the fleet travels outside coverage, discuss a compatible satellite option and the specific messages it needs to carry.

Discuss a pilot around representative vehicles and the information your team needs. Agree the hardware, installation and reporting scope before expanding. This helps assess fit across the different vehicles in your fleet.

The quote sets out the chosen hardware, installation, software service and optional accessories. Coverage, storage and satellite services can affect the configuration and ongoing fees. Ask for these items to be shown separately when comparing options.
