Your questions

WhatWhat youyou needneedtoto know.know.

Installation and deployment brings the agreed equipment and platform configuration into use. The scope can include fitment, device allocation, user setup, commissioning and handover. Cameras, sensors and access hardware have their own installation requirements.

The time depends on the vehicle, device and accessories being fitted. A camera system or sensor installation can need different preparation from a plug-in tracker. Agree the fitment allowance and vehicle access window when scheduling.

Provide the vehicle list, chosen equipment and a site contact. Discuss parking, access, keys and any site induction requirements. Confirm these arrangements before the installer attends.

Some compatible plug-in devices suit a simpler fitment process. Confirm the vehicle connection, mounting and any extension harness before proceeding. Installed trackers, cameras and additional inputs require an assessment of their fitting needs.

Check the device-to-vehicle allocation and the selected information reaching the platform. Depending on the installation, this can include location, ignition, odometer calibration, camera views and sensor inputs. Confirm the relevant alerts and recipients as part of the agreed scope.

Removal and refit can be arranged, subject to device condition and compatibility with the replacement vehicle. Some harnesses, mounts or accessories may need changing. Update the vehicle assignment and recheck the installation before use.

Discuss each location, the vehicle mix and the available fitment windows. Site access, travel and installer availability affect the schedule and quote. Agree the sequence and local contacts before booking.

Training and handover should be defined in the agreed scope. Identify the people attending and the tasks they need to learn. Additional sessions or later changes can be discussed separately.
