No. Retained footage consists of event clips and requested recordings. Journey replay shows where those clips sit on the journey clock, including gaps where nothing has been retained. You can request an additional range while it is still available on the recorder.
The request stays visible and can upload when the camera reconnects. Its progress and outcome appear in the footage register, with a notification when it is ready. If the recorder has overwritten the requested range, the result is shown as unavailable.
Yes. Select the channels that recorded the moment, including road, cabin and commissioned side or rear views. Side-by-side playback keeps recordings from the same recorder in step. A channel with no recording or restricted access is identified in the review.
Event evidence and requested footage are retained for at least 60 days from capture under the workspace policy. A hold keeps a clip beyond its normal expiry until an authorised person releases it. Releasing a hold resumes the original capture-based retention period.
No. Live viewing is separate from retained footage. Request the time range you watched if you need to keep evidence. Live viewing is delayed by the connection and streaming process; it is not a real-time driving aid.
Live viewing uses short sessions, low-data quality by default and camera and workspace allowances. Authorised users can select higher quality where supported. Warnings and enforced limits help control usage; each active channel contributes to the allowance.
Yes. Viewing cabin footage, watching live, requesting footage, exporting and managing holds have separate permissions. Workspace policy can require face blurring on cabin exports. Exports record the reason and the person requesting them, while the original stays unchanged.
Authorised staff can open footage from vehicle alerts, request more, attach evidence to an incident and use live viewing in Fleet Mobile. Playback needs a connection. Exact footage ranges, export preparation and full journey replay are handled in Fleet web.
Supported options include Jimi JC400 and JC450 cameras, LightMetrics cameras and the Stonkam DV454 recorder. Channels, detections, recording search and live viewing depend on the model, firmware and provider connection. Bring the details of your existing system so the team can confirm its fit.
