How do we bring in our vehicle spreadsheet?

Upload your existing CSV or Excel file. IntelliTrac matches each spreadsheet column to the right place, shows anything that needs attention and waits for your approval before saving the data. You can import vehicles, assets, service history, costs and fuel purchases.

What can we import?

  • The vehicle and asset register: registration, make and model, depots, cost centres.
  • Service and maintenance history, so due dates are right from day one.
  • Cost history and fuel transactions.

What happens during the import?

The import assistant reads the column names and suggests where the information belongs. You review those choices before continuing. IntelliTrac checks every row and lists any problems so you can fix them in the spreadsheet or on screen. Nothing is saved until the checks pass.

What should we check first?

You do not need to rebuild your file around an IntelliTrac template. Use the spreadsheet you already have. Before uploading it, check that each vehicle has a consistent registration, fleet number or other unique reference so its history goes to the right vehicle.
