How is the IntelliTrac AI assistant controlled?

The IntelliTrac AI assistant follows the same access rules as the person using it. It can only use approved actions, asks for human approval before sensitive work, and logs every question and action. It also uses vehicle history and live usage data to identify likely maintenance needs before a breakdown.

What controls the assistant?

  1. It uses your access. The assistant can only see and change information the person asking the question is allowed to use.
  2. It uses approved actions. The assistant can only run actions IntelliTrac has made available to it.
  3. People approve sensitive work. Important or destructive actions stop and wait for clear approval. If nobody approves the action, it does not run.

How does predictive maintenance work?

IntelliTrac uses service history, odometer and engine-hour readings, vehicle faults and current usage to identify maintenance that is likely to be needed. The assistant explains the reason, shows the supporting vehicle data and can prepare the next action for approval.

Can we connect our own AI tools?

Yes. Your organisation can connect approved AI tools through the IntelliTrac Model Context Protocol server. External assistants use secure sign-in and pass through the same access checks, approved actions and human approval steps as the built-in assistant.

Can we review every AI action?

Yes. Questions, proposed actions, approvals and completed actions appear in the platform activity log. The full control and security model is on the security and trust page.
