Transport Certification Australia (TCA)

Transport Certification Australia is the national body that certifies telematics providers and administers the National Telematics Framework, including the IAP, TMA and RIM schemes.

When a road manager or regulator needs to trust telematics data, TCA is who provides that assurance: it type-approves devices, certifies and registers service providers, and operates the framework the schemes run on.

For a fleet, the practical question is whether your telematics provider holds the TCA status your access scheme requires. IntelliTrac is TCA-registered for Road Infrastructure Management.
